Cara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from William Jewell College and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where she was the articles editor for the ABA Journal, The Urban Lawyer.

After a number of years in the mortgage and banking industry, Ms. Terrell obtained her law degree in 2004 and has practiced exclusively in the area of Social Security disability law ever since. Cara is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representative, and the Volunteer Attorney Project.

Cara is a life-long resident of the Northland and lives with her husband and two sons in Platte County.  She is a board member for the 5 Star Jazz Band and is active in many school and church functions.
